Question: Who can get a Prince Hall Specialty Tag?

Answer: Members of the Prince Hall Family of Masons and Eastern Stars.

Question: Do I have to be a Georgia resident?

Answer: Specialized tags are not manufactured as souvenirs. You must be a resident of this state and register your vehicle with the special tag at the Tax Commissioner's office in the county in Georgia were you reside.

Question: Are there any other requirements?

Answer: You must also meet all of the requirements of vehicle registration (i.e. Provide proof of Georgia liability insurance coverage and pay all registration fees and applicable ad valorem taxes, etc.).

Question: What is the cost of the MWPHGLGA Tag per year?

Answer: The cost will be $35.00 per tag plus the $20.00 that is currently required per tag by the state of Georgia. This cost is subject to change but is solely controlled by the State. If you pay ad valorem taxes today, you will still pay ad valorem taxes in addition to the amounts mentioned above.
